Man, 57, hits head, falls off skiff and dies

A 57-year-old White Mountain man died last week after his skiff hit an object
and he lost his balance, hit his head and ended up in the water, Alaska State
				Troopers said.

After Charles Agloinga's skiff washed ashore, a search was launched and
Agloinga's body was recovered about a mile northwest in the Fish River,
submerged in three feet of water.

Agloinga was on his way to visit family members upriver, alone in his 16-foot
boat. Agloinga was not wearing a life jacket.

White Mountain is on the west bank of the Fish River on the Seward Peninsula,
about 60 miles east of Nome.
